Item/Subject: Ratifying Execution and Delivery of Municipal
quitclaim Deed -- Real Estate Located at 26 Parker Street

The City acquired title to property located at 26 Parker Street,
formerly in the name of Sohn & Terris McLean, by virtue of a
matured 1997 tax lien. In addition, the 1998 and 1999 taxes were
unpaid. The total due was $3,963.76. Fleet Bank, represented by
Rudman & Ninchell, wished to make payment in full so they could
proceed with its foreclosure action.
On May 17th the Finance Committee approved the issuance of a deed
once payment was received. Recently weenotified that payment
had been received. In order to accommodate a September 29th
closing, a quitclaim dead was prepared.
This Resolve would ratify the actions of both the Treasury and
Legal offices in completing this matter.

TEAT the actions of the Finance Director and City
Solicitor in executing and delivering a municipal quitclaim deed
releasing tax title to property located at 26 Parker Street to
Fleet Banat of Maine, successor in interest to Sohn D. & Tattle L.
McLean, is,hereby ratified and confirmed.
A copy of the deed in its executed form is attached to
this Resolve.

The CITY OF SANOOR, 8 Municipal corporation located in
BangorPenobscot County, Maine, as Greater, for consideration
aid, releases t0 ROBOT BANK OF MAINE, r inin[ est to
Sohn D. F Terris L. Mclean, a Banking corporation with a place of
business in Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, as Grantee,
property located in Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, more
particularly bomWed and described as follows:
Real estate located at 26 Parker Street in said
Bangor, and furthex described in a deed recorded
in Vo1Wae 2307, Page 297, Penobscot Registry of
Leeds. This property is further designated a
Aasessor'9 Map 35, Lot 48, real estate account
number 44058.
Any and all other rights, a semens, privileges
and appurtenances belonging to the granted
estate are hereby conveyed.
The purpose of this deed is to release to the Grantee any
interest the Grantor nay have in the above-described property by
virtue of an undischarged real estate tax lien assessed for tax

All public easements or other public interests in the
