A sewer lien on property located at 276 Essex Street and assessed
against Erin E. Roy matured on August 3, 1999. Me. Roy has paid
the balance due, approximately $1,900, and is now asking that the
property be quitclaimed back to her. Because the sewer lien has
matured, Comcil approval is necessary to release the City's
interest in the property.
There are no code issues with the property, and the real estate tax
account is current.
The Finance Committee recommended approval at its meeting held on
September 7th.

THAT Ronald I. Heller, Finance Director, is hereby
authorized, on behalf of the City of Hangar, to execute a Municipal
Quitclaim Deed releasing any interest the City may have in the real
estate located at 276 Essex Street in said Bangor by virtue of a
matured municipal sewer charge lien recorded in Book 6593, Page 97,
Penobscot Registry of Deeds. Said deed shall be directed to Erin
E. Roy, a copy of which is attached hereto.

MONICIPAL ODITCLAIM DEED
The CITY OF BANGOR, acipal corporation located in
Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, Grantor, for consideration
paid, releases to ERIN E. ROY, of Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine,
as Grantee, a certain lot or parcel of land with the buildings
thereon, situate in the City of Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine,
more particularly described as follows, viz:
Real estate located at 276 Essex Street in said
Bangor, and further described in deeds recorded
in Volume 4759, Page 50 and Volume 6221, Page
11, Penobscot Registry of Deeds. Designated
further in City records a6 Assessor's Map 47,
Lot 63,, real estate account number 60129.
Any and all other rights, aaents, privileges
and appurtenances belongingtogranted
.estate. are hereby conveyed.
The purpose of this deed is to release to the Grantee any
interest the Grantor may have in the above described property by
virtue of a matured sewer lien assessed against Erin E. Roy and
recorded in Book 6593, Page 97, Penobscot Registry of Deeds. All
public easements or other public interests in the described
premises for roads, sewers, or other purposes are expressly
reserved.
The said CITY OF EANGOR has caused this instrument to be
Baled with its corporate seal, and Signed in its corporate name by
RONALD I. HELLER, Finance Director, thereunto duly authorized, this
day of September, 1999.
