Commentary:
A sewer lien was recorded in February 1998 on property located at 76 Cedar Street and
owned by Pend, Denise, Everett, and Amy Hodsdon. The Wastewater Treatment Plant
has received payment in the amount of $3;23S+ for the outstanding charges. Because the
sewer It= has motored, Council approval is necessary to release the City's interest no the
Property.
Real estate toes are curtest However, there are outstanding personal property taxes in
the amount of approximately $75 for the years 1997 througb 1999. This will be collected
before the deed is issued to the tuutpayers.
The Finance Committee recommended approval at its meeting held on August 16'".

of Deeds. Said deed shall be ducted to Paul E. Hodsdon; Denise R HadMon; Everett

MUNICIPAL 0[RTCLAIM DEED
The CITY OF BANGOR, a municipal corporation located in Bangor, Penobscot
County, Maine, as Greater, for consideration paid, releases to PAN, E. HODSDON;
DENISE K HODSDON; EVERETT M. HODSDON; and AMY E. HODSDON 3T, of
Brewer, Penobscot County, Maine, as cmantces a certain lot or parcel of land with the
buildings thereon, situate in the City of Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, more
particularly described as follows, viz:
Real u mre located at 76 CNar Street in said Bangor,
and further described in deeds recorded in Volume 4601,
Pap 292 and Volume 5956, Page 51, Penobscot Registry
of Deeds. Designated "her in City records as Assessor's
Map 35, Lot 103, real estate account number 52530.
Any and all other rights, easements, privileges and
appurtenances belonging to the granted estate are hereby
conveyed.
The purpose of this deed is to release to the Grantees any interest the Grantor may
have in the above-described property by virtue of a matured sewer lien assessed against
Paul E. Hodsdon; Denise R. Hodsdon; Everett M. Hodsdon; and Amy E. Hodsdon and
recorded in Book 6593, Page 8, Penobscot Registry of Deeds. All public easements or
other Public interests in the described promises for roads, sewers, or other purposes are
expressly reserved.
The said CITY OF BANGOR bas caused this instrument to be sealed with its
corporate seal, and signed in its corporate name by RONALD 1. HELLER, Theme
Director, thereunto duly authorizN, this day of August, 1999.
