Item/Subject: Authorizing Execution of Municipal Quitclaim Deed
-- Real Estate located at 1990 Ohio Street (land)

The Treasurer's office has received payment in the amount of
approximately $325.00 for outstanding taxes assessed against
property located at 1990 Ohio Street. Because the 1997 tax lien
has matured, a quitclaim deed is now required.
This order would authorize release of the City's interest in the
property back to the property ower, Mona A. Nickerson. There are
no existing code violations.
The Finance committee recommended approval at its June 7th meeting

ORDERED,
TUT Ronald 1. Beller, Finance Director, is hereby
authorized, on behalf of. the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal
Quitclaim Deed releasing any interest the City may have in the
real estate (land) located at 1990 Ohio Street in said Bangor by
virtue of an undischarged real estate tax lien recorded in Book
6407, Page 162, Penobscot Registry of Deeds. Said deed shall be
directed to Mona A. Nickerson, 1a -copy of which is attached hereto.'

The CITY OF BANGOR, acipal corporation located i
Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, Grantor, for consideration
paid, releases to MONA A. NICAERSON, of Bangor, Penobscot County,
Maine, as Grantee, the property located in Bangor, Penobscot
County, Maine, more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Real estate located at 1990 Ohio Street (land)
in said Bangor, and further described in a deed
recorded in volume 2527, Page 244, Penobscot
Registry of Deeds. This property is further
designated as Assessor's Map R3, Lot 4A, real
estate account number 28458.
Any and all other rights, easements, privileges
and appurtenances belonging ato the granted
estate are hereby conveyed.
The purpose of this deed is to release to the Grantee any
interest the Grantor may have in the above-described property by
virtue of an undischarged real estate tax lien assed for tax
year 1997 against Mona A. Nickerson and recordedin6407, Page
162, Penobscot Registry of Deeds.
All public easements
mens or other public interests in the
described premises forroads, sewers, or other purposes are
expressly reserved.
The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument to be
Baled with its corporate seal, and signed in its corporate name by
RONALD I. HELLER, Finance Director, thereunto duly authorized, this
day of June, 1999.
