Ey Council Order k98-61, .passed in December, 1997, the City Manager was directed to take possession of the property. The City demolished the building. The Newmans are abutters who wish to Purchase one-half of the lot. They have offered $750.00. The Finance Committee approved the conveyance at its January 19th meeting. ORDERED, the City Manager is hereby authorized, on behalf of the Cityq of Bangor, to execute a deed conveying one-half of real estate (land) located at 21 Fourth Street (Tax Map 39, Lot 77) to Paul W. Newman and Martha Newmanfor consideration in the amount of Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($750.00).A copy of said deed is attached hereto. Everton, Admz., to William F. Sanford dated October 29. 1868 and recorded in the Penobscot County Registry of Deeds in Volume 384, Page 7; thence south- esterly, by and along the northwest line of Fourth St., twelve and five tenths (12.5) feet: thence northwesterly, parallel to the northeast line of lot numbered two, as laid down on Z. Bradley's plan made in 1829, one hundred eighteen (118) feet, more or less, to the southeasterly line of the parcel of land sold by E. Everton to Dexter & Mason by deed dated September 19, 1833 and recorded in the Penobscot County Registry of Deeds in Volume 43, Page 11; thence northeasterly, in said southeasterly line of said Dexter & Mason land, twelve and five tenths (12.5) feet to said Sanford's southwesterly line; thence south- asterly, by and along said Sanford's southwest line, one hundred eighteen (118) feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. Being the northeast half of the same premises described in a deed from Kenneth G. Tsoulas to George L. Tsoulas dated June 6, 1996 and recorded in the Penobscot County Registry of Deeds in volume 6142, Page 262. Any and all other rights, easements, privileges and appurtenances belonging to the granted estate are hereby conveyed. All public easements or other public interests in the described premises for roads, sewers, or other purposes are expressly reserved. The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument to be sealed with its corporate seal, and signed in its corporate name by EDWARD A.
