Sewer liens recorded in 1996 and 1999 on property located at 65
Kenduskeag Avenue and assessed against Cheryl A. Foley have
matured. The mortgage holder, who had not been notified of the
liens, paid outstanding sewer user fees and real estate taxes in
the amount of $3,300.00. Because the sewer liens have matured,
Council approval is necessary to release the City's interest in the
property.
There are no code issues with the property.
The Finance Committee recommended approval at its meeting held on
March 15th.

ORDERED,
TWT Ronald 1. Heller, Finance Director, is hereby
authorized, on behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal
Quitclaim Deed releasing any interest the City may have in the real
estate located at 54 Kenduskeag Avenue in said Bangor by virtue of
matured municipal sewer charge liens recorded in Book 6065, Page
169 and Book 6308, Page 158, Penobscot Registry of Deeds. Said
deed shall be directed to Cheryl A. Foley, a copy of which is
attached hereto.

The CITY OF BANGOR, a municipal corporation located in
Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, as Grantor, for consideration
paid, releases to CHERYL A. FOLEY, of Bangor, Penobscot County,
Maine, as Grantee, a certain lot or parcel of land with the
buildings thereon, situate in the City of Bangor, Penobscot County,
Maine, more particularly described as follows, viz:
Real estate located at 54 Kenduskeag Avenue in
said Bangor, and further described in a deed
recorded in Volume 3641, Page 144, Penobscot
Registry of Deeds. Designated further in City
records as Assessor's Map 31, Lot 84, real
estate account number 49397.
Any and all other rights, easements, privileges
and appurtenances belonging to the granted
estate are hereby conveyed.
The purpose of this deed is to release to the Grantee any
interest the Grantor may have in the above described property by
virtue of matured sewer liens assessed against Cheryl A. Foley and
recorded in Book 6065, Page 169 and Book 6308, Page 158, Penobscot
Registry of Deeds. All public easements or other public interests
n the described premises for roads, sewers, or other purposes are
expressly reserved.
The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument to be
sealed with its corporate seal, and signed in its corporate name by
RONALD I. HELLER, Finance Director, thereunto duly authorized, this
day of March, 1999.
