Because payment had been incorrectly applietl on the account for property located et 311 Pine Street and
owned by Beth L. Idngsbury, successor in file to gun K & Lisa M. Chapman, a tax lien matured. The
account is now current and the taxpayer has requested that the City exeate a municipal euitdaim deed
to return the property to her.
The Finance Committee recommended approval at Its meeting held on September 5, 2000.

Estate Located at 311 Pine Street

THAT Ronald 1. Heller, Finance Director, Is hereby authorized, on behalf of the City
of Bangor, to execute a Municipal Quitclaim Deed releasing any interest the City may
have In the real estate located at 311 Pile Street In said Bangor by viRue of a matured
real estate tax Ilen assessed for the year 1998 and recorded in Book 6719, Page 24,
Penobscot Registry of Deeds. Said deed shall be directed to Beth Kingsbury, successor
in Ude to Jon K. & Lisa M. Chapman, a copy of said deed being attached hereto.

MUNICIPAL QUITCLAIM DEED
The CITY OF BANGOR, a municipal corporation located in Bangor, Penobscot
County, Maine, as Grantor, for consideration paid, releases to BETH L. KINGSBURY,
successor in title to Jon K. & Lisa M. Chapman, of Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, as
Grome, a certain lot or parcel of land with the buildings thereon, situate in the City of
Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, more particularly described as follows, viz:
Real estate located at 311 Pine Street in said Bangor
and Rather described in a deed recorded in Volume
6590, Page 285, Penobscot Registry of Deeds
Said real estate is fmtber described in City records as
real state account number 00800, Assessor's Map 47,
Lot 38.
Any and all other rights, easements, privileges and
appunemaces belonging to the granted estate are
hereby conveyed.
The purpose ofdns deed is to release no the Grantee my interest the Grantor may
have in the above-described property by virtue of matured real estate tax lien assessed
for the year 1998 against Jon K. & Lisa M. Chapman and recorded in Book 6719, Page
24, Penobscot Registry of Deeds. All public easements or other public interests inthe
described premises for roads, sewers, or other purposes are expressly reserved.
The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument to be sealed with its
corporate seal, and signed in its corporate name by RONALD I. HELLER, Finance
Director, thereunto duly authorized, this _day of September, 2000.
