Real estate taxes for the year 19% were paid in full on property located at 251 Finsan Read and assessed
against Jeffrey L. and Debra L. Anderson. However, the lien was not discharged and have subsequently
matured. The taxpayers have requested that the City execute a municipal quitclaim deed to return the
property to them.
The Fnance Committee recommended approval at its meeting held on September 5, 2000

(TITLE.) ORDER, Authorizing Execution of Municipal Quitclaim Deed -- Real
Estate Located at 251 Finson Road
THAT Ronald I. Heller, Finance Director, is hereby authorized, on behalf of the City
of Bangor, to execute a Municipal Quitclaim Deed releasing any interest the City may
have in the real estate located at 251 Rnson Road in said Bangor by virtue of a matured
real estate tax lien assessed for the year 1996 and recorded In Book 6139, Page 66,
Penobscot Registry Of Deeds. Said deed shall be directed to 3elfrey L. and Debra L
Anderson, a copy of said deed being attached hereto.

MUNICIPAL QUITCLAIM DEED
The CITY OF BANGOR, a municipal corporation located in Bangor, Penobscot
County, Maine, as Grantor, for consideration paid, releases to JEFFREY L. & DEBRA L.
ANDERSON, both of Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, as Grantees, a certain lot or
parcel of land vMb the buildings thereon, situate in the City of Eerier, Penobscot
County, Maine, more particularly described as follows, viz:
Real estate located at 251 Finson Road in said
Bangor and further described in a deed recorded
in Volume 4630, Page 366, Penobscot County
RegistryofDoms. Saidrealemenisfmfier
described in City records as real estate account
number 04635, Assessor's Map R12, Lot 4-A.
Any and all other rights, easements, privileges and
appurtenances belonging m the granted estate are
hereby conveyed.
The purpose of this deed is to release to the Grantees any interest the Grantor may
have in the above-described property by virtue of a matured real estate tax lien assessed
for the year 1996 against the Grantees and recorded in Book 6139, Page 66, Penobscot
Registry of Deeds. All public easements or other public interests in the described
premises for roads, sewers, or other purposes are expressly reserved.
The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument to be sealed with its
corporate seal, and signed in its corporate name by RONALD 1. IiELLER, Finance
Director, thereunto duly authorized, Us _ day of September, 2000.
