Mr. Kenneth F. Beland, Chairman
The Board of Trustees
The Bangor Water District
Bangor, Maine 04401
Dear Ken,
As I indicated several months ago, my wife and I expect to be leaving
the United Stares for a period of 2-4 years beginning immediately after the
closure of the public schools. Thus I will be unable to continue as a trustee
of the water district. This letter is to tender my resignation as a trustee of the
Bangor Water District as of this date, April 18, 2000.
1 have found my experience ss a trustee inferandive and rewarding. It
seems m me that the strength of our community is dependent upon citizen
participation in boards such as that of the water district. I feel uniquely
privileged to have served, albeit for such a short period.
Sincerely,
William L. England
