Covered employees Include CNA's, cooks, dietary aides, housekeepers, maintenance, staff and laundry workers. The Union voted to ratify the agreement in a vote held on February 25, 2000. This Is a successor agreement M the previous 19W%contract beMreen the parties. Negotiated changes to Me contact include the Miming: 18 month term, $200 stipend for eligible employees year one, 1% pay increase for the second six months, inclusion of an attendance central policy and conversion of one part-time housekeeping position to fulltlme. Other major ecorromk items (vacation, slat leave, holidays, retirement, heats Insurance) will remain the same. The City Counal has had an opportunity to review the agreement In exeeutive session and the proposed contact is within established bargaining guidelines.
