Tom Needham informed our office on September IP that a closing was scheduled for September le
and asked for a municipal quitclaim deed. Tire taxes an the property have been paid.
Because of the closing elate, there was not time to first go to Committee. Staff recommends the Finance
Committee's approval for full Council mOfication of the execution and dellvery of the deed.
This Resolve would ratify the actions of both the Finance and Legal offices In completing MIs matter

THAT the actions of the Finance Director and City Solicitor in executing and
delivering a Municipal Quitclaim Deed releasing Its Interest in real estate located at 300 Burleigh
Road by virtue of a matured real estate tax lien recorded in Book 6719, Page 328, Penobscot
Registry of Deeds to Edward S. McClure, Is hereby ratified and confirmed.

MUNICIPAL QUITCLAIM DEED
The CITY OF BANGOR, a municipal corporation located in Bangor, Penobscot County,
Maine, as Grantor, for coasidera0on paid, rebases to EDWARD S. MCCLURE, of Poland,
AMM,in County, Maine, As Grantee, a certain lot or parcel of land with the buildings thereon,
situate in the City of Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, and more particularly described as follows,
viz
Rest estate located at 300 Budeigh Read in said Bangor, and
forther described in deeds recorded in Volume 2178, Page 422;
Volume 2157, Page 187; and Volume 6081; Page 257, Ih obscot
Registry of Dads. Said real estate is f n lwr described in City
records as account number 8990, Assessor's Map R46, Int IN.
AM and all other rights, easements, privileges and appurtenances
belonging TO the granted estate are hereby conveyed.
The purpose of this deed is to release to the Grentee my interest the Grantor may have is the
above-described property by virtue of an undischarged teal estate rax lien assessed against the Grantee
and recorded in Book 6719, Page 328, Penobscot Registry of Dads. All public ear mrds or other
public interests in the described premises for roads, sewers, or other purposes are expressly reserved.
The said CITY OF BANGOR his CausN this instrument to be sealed with its corporate Seal,
and signed in its Corporate name by DEBORAH A. CYR, Finance Director, thereunto duly authorized
