Several sewer liens which were recorded against the property at 46 Thornton Road have matured. The
Wastewater Treatment Plant has received payment In full and the property owner has requested a
quitclaim deed Because all of the hens have matured, Council approval is necessary to release the City's
interest in the property tack to th property owner.
The Fnance Committee recommended approval M Its meeting on July 18, 2001.
There are no outstanding real estate taxes or code issues with the propeM1y.

ORDERED,
THAT Deborah A Cyr, Finance Director, is hereby authorized and directed, on
behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a Mumdpal Quitclaim Deed releasing any
Interest the City may have In the real estate located at 46 Thornton Road in said Bangor
by virtue of several matured sevroc liens recorded in the Penobscot County Registry of
Deeds. Said deed shall be directed to Ann Marie Comer Pratt, a/k/a Ann Marie Comer,
a copy of said deed being attached hereto.

MUaICB'AL QUITCLAIM DEED
The CITY OF BANGOR amunicipal corporation located in Bangor, Penobscot County,
Maine, as Grantor, for consideration paid, releases to ANN MARIE COMER PRATT, a/k/a Ami Marie
Comer, of Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, as Grantee, a certain lot or parcel of land with the
buildings thereon, situate in the City of Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, and more particularly
described as follows, viz:
Real estate located at 46 Thoroton Road in said Bangor anal.
described in a deed recorded in Volume 2650, Page 228,
Penobscot Registry of Deeds. Said real estate is further
described in City records as sewer account number 056-017,
Assessor's Map R42, Lot 114.
Any and all other rights, easements, privileges and appurtenances
belonging to the granted estate are hereby conveyed.
The purpose of this deed is to release to the Grantee any interest the Grantor may have in the
above-described property by virtue of undischarged sewer liens assessed against the Grimm and
recorded in Book 5642, Page 300; Book 5643, Page 312; Book 5643, Page 355; Book 5643, Page 356;
Book 6425, Page 350; and Book 6593, Page 80Penobscot Registry oflhzds. All public easements or
other public interests in the described premises for roads, sewers, or other purposes are expressly
reserved.
The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument to be sealed with its corporate seal,
and signed in its corporate name by DEBORAH A. CYR, Finance Director, thereunto duly authorized
this_ day of July. 2001.
