Commentary:
Labor negmiations with 13 unionized employees at Bangor Motor Pool have resulted In a Tentative
Agreement between the negotiating committees. Thh three-year agreement follows the lune 30, 2001
expiration of the most recent 3 -year agreement between the Parties. Major points of significance Include
cost of living adjustments of 2% War one, 3% War two and 3% year three; inclusion of the Retiree
Health SaNngs Plan; agreement to review heakh insurance plans, minor adjustments to the safety boot
allowance and other various contractual housekeeping modifications.
The Motor Pool Union has held it ratification vote and the Tentative Agreement has met with their
approval. The proposed agreement Is within established Ory Council bargaining guidelines and Is now
ready for your consideration and action. The Agreement is presented with the recommendation of the
Management Negotiating Committee (Harry Courthois and Bob Dawes) and I concur as well.
A copy of the entire agreement will be provided under separate over with me Counol packet.

ending June 30, 2004.
