IWM No. 01-260 Date: June 25, 2001 Item/Subject: ORDER- Authorizing Republic Parking Contract Extension. Responsible Department: Purdrasing/Airport Commentary: On June June 6, 2001 the Finance Committee reviewed requests from both the Airyort and Economic Devdapment Departments to extend the City's parking contract with Republic Parking Inc., - see attached memos. ThIs contract covers both the downtown parking operations (parking garage and parking lots) and the parking operations at the Airport. The requests were initiated primadly due to the ongoing construction at the parking garage and a desire to continue the excellent services currently prWded by Republic Parking Inc. NOW, THEREFORE, the parties do mutually agree to amend the Agreement as follows ARTICLE HI MANAGEMENT RELATIONSHIP Section3.02 Term (a) shall be deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following: The toren ofthis Agreemrnt shall expire on October 31,2002 Thepartieshave the option, by mutual agreement, to extend the Agreement to October 31,2003."
