Because two of the liens have matured, Council approval is necessary to release the CIVs interest In the property back to the property owner. The former owner of the property, Maple HIII Townhouses, Inc., had a 1999 tax lien that was paid but not discharged. The Hnance Comm Wee recommended approval at its meeting on May Z1, 2001. The real estate taxes are current.
