Automated External Defibrillators (AED's)

Eastern Maine Chanties is currently sponsoring a program known as Operation HeaMest.
Through this program the Operation Heartbeat Committee will contribute up to $1,750 towams the
purchase of each AED. Recently the Police Department received $9,280 In funding from Eastern Maine
Charities which was to be used to purchase four units. By applying for an additional $9,880 we will be
able M purchase a total of eight units; enough to put a unit in each front line pawl unit. I have spoken
to Eastern Maine Charities and confirmed that we on use the funding from the original grant to cover Me
remaining cost not covered by Operation Heartbeat.
