Item/Subject: ORDER - Authorizing Sale of Vacant Land At 257 Randolph Drive
Responsible Department: Community and Economic Development
Commentary: lat number 1 is a vacant lot At the corner of Randolph Drive and Union
Street. We sold the adjacent house to Kevin Moncrieff last year. Mr. Moncrieff has asked R
he could purchase the lot. The only other abutter is the City's athletic fields. The Business
B Economic Development Committee reviewed the request, and decided that they would
agree to the sale if the deed contained a restriction that prohibits buildings of any kind on
the lot. Mr. Moncrieff agreed. The City Assessor assessed the value of the lot with the deed
restriction at $2,024.
