These funds are the result of a redistrbution of money that was either declined by the applying agency or not approved. The City of Bangor has already taken advamage of this program and was awarded $30,5]8 in the year 2000. This money was used to develop the juvenile diversion program known as "Jump Start", which has been administered by the WCA. A portion of the funds also supported our Police Athletic League. If approved, this new money would be used ro continue these programs through September 30, 2001. The program would continue m be administered by the YMCA and the City of Bar:gor's role is that of the fiscal agent There is a 10% match obligation that the YMCA has agreed to cover. D.
