The Legal Department was notified on Monday, March 12th, of a closing scheduled for Thursday, March
SSM, Involving real estate located at 14 Hudson Street. A 1998 tax lien in the name of the former owner
had not been discharged at the dme of payment. Because the lien has matured, Cry Council approval Is
necessary to release the Cit/s interest in the property. There are no known code violations or
outstanding sewer bills.
In order to accommodate the scheduled closing, staff recommends approval of MIs Order.

ORDERED,
THAT Deborah A. Cyr, Acting Finance Director, is hereby authorized and directed,
on behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal Quitclaim Deed releasing any
Interest the City may have in the real estate looted at 14 Hudson Street in said Bangor
Dy virtue of an undischarged real estate tax lien assessed for the year 1998 and
recorded in Book 6720, Page 103, Penobscot Registry of Deeds. Said deed shall be
directed to John McNally, successor In 0tle to Raymond J. Poulin, a copy of said deed
being etched hereto.

MUNICIPAL QUITCLAIM DEED
The CITY OF BANGOR, a municipal corporation located in Bangor, Penobscot County,
Maine, as Grunter, for considermon paid, releases to JOHN MCNALLY, of Bangor, Penobscot
County, Maine, successor in title m Raymond L Poulin, as Grantee, a certain lot or parcel of land with
the buildings thereon, situate in the City of Burger, Penobscot County, Maine, and more particularly
described as follows, viz:
Real estate located at 14 Hudson Street in said Better, and
described in adeed recorded in Volume 5814, Page 46,
Penobscot County Registry of Deeds. Said real estate is further
described in City records as account number 80284, Assessor's
Map 33, Lot 35B.
Any and all other rights, easements, privileges and appurtenances
belonging to the granted estate are hereby conveyed.
The purpose of this deed is to release m the Grantee any interest the Grantor may have in the
above-described Property by virtue of an undischarged real estate tax lien assessed against Raymond J.
Poulin and recorded in Book 6720, Page 103, Penobscot Registry of Deeds. All public easements or
other public interests in the described premises for roads, sewers, or other purposes are expressly
reutved.
The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused Ws instrument to be sealed with its corporate seal,
and signed in its corporate name by DEBORAH A. CYR. Acting Finance Director, thereunto duly
authorized this dayof March,2001.
