The State Department of environmental Protection, through its process of reviewing the City's Land Development Code to ensure its compliance with the State's Mandatory Shoreland Zoning Guidelines, conditionally approved the City's Land Development Code on November 30, 2000. One condition of approval requires that the City rezone a portion of the Penjajawoc Stream located off of Stillwater Avenue from Stream Protection with a 50' setback to Resource Protection with a 75' setback.
