The present complexity of MSW disposal issues, not only the Parity Deal and it financial arrangements, but the proposed merger of BHE with Nova Scotia Power and the pending legal action against the managing partner of PERC, truly requires an MRC Board dedicated to, and intimately familiar with, municipal affairs and concerns. Member Communities have been very fortunate indeed to have just such an MRC Board these last several years. It would be an honor to continue serving on this Board. Joshua T.
