Item/Subject ORDER, Authorizing Execution of Municipal Quitclaim Deed
-- Real Estate Located at 22 Jennifer Lane
Responsible Department: Legal
Commentary:
In a foreclosure action brought by Bangor Savings Bank against property located at 22 Jennifer Lane and
owned by Stephen and Bernadette Durant, it was discovered Mat there were outstanding real estate tax
and sewer charges going back to 1998. Only the 1998 real estate tax lien had matured. Payment in full
has now been received and the Bank is requesting that the City Issue a quitclaim deed returning the
property bark to the Durand. This Order would authorize execution of the deed.
The Finance Commmee recommended approval at its meeting held on November 6, 2000
There are no code issues wIM the property.
