In researching and cleaning up the CWs tax files, the Treasurers Office discoveretl matured tax liens
which were either not discharged at the tlme of payment, or that should have been discharged before
maturity. Due to the lapse of time, a quitclaim deed must now be issued. This Order would authorize
execution of the deed to release the City's interest in the property by Nr[ue of the matured lien.

ORDERED,
THAT Ronald 1. Meller, Finance Director, Is hereby authorized, on behalf of the City
of Bangor, to execute a Municipal QuiWaim Deed releasing any Interest the City may
have in real estate located at 12 Second Street Avenue In said Bangor by virtue of a
1998 tax lien recorded in the Penobscot Registry of Deeds in Book 6719, Page 321.
Said deed shall be directed to Mark E. & Lauri A. Matheson, and in a form to be
approved by the City Solicitor's Off Ice.
