As an Integral part of the development of the natural gas distribution system for the City of Bangor, Bangor Gas proposes to install polyethylene natural gas system piping within the road and street right-of-ways, The pipe material will be PE 2906, medium density Polyethylene gas pipe. The Pipe color will be yellow In compliance with the national color code standards for utilities. The pipe will be installed by branchless and/or conventional open cut -ditch methods. All gas mains will be installed at a minimum depth of three feet below finished surface grade. The proposed location is Middle Street from Columbia Street to High Street 250 linear feet. Appraval of the Utility Location Permit is subject to further review by Engineering prior to Issuance of Street Opening Permits from the Engineering Department for Construction.
