A sewer lien assessed against property of Richard Rossignol located at 22 Third Street matured in
December, 2001. The Wastewater Treahnent Plant has received payment in full from Bangor Savings
Bank, and the Bank has requested that the deed be to the property owner. Because the lien had
matured, Council approval is necessary to release the CiNs interest in the property. The real estate
taxes are current A code enhacement lien against the property has also been paid by Bangor Savings
and a discharge of that lien will be recorded.
The Finance Committee recommended approval at its meeting on lune 5, 2002.

(TIRE.) ORDER, Authorizing Execution of Municipal Quitclaim Deed- Real
Estate Located at 22 Third Street

ORDERED,
THAT Deborah Cyr, Finance Director, is hereby authorized and directed, on behalf
of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal Quitclaim Deed releasing any interest the
City may have in the real estate located at 22 Third Street in said Bangor by virtue of an
undischarged sewer lien recorded in Book 7397, page 52, Penobscot Registry of Deeds.
Said deed shall be directed to Richard Rossignol, a copy of said deed being attached
hereto.

MUNICIPAL QUITCLAIM DEED
The CITY OF BANGOR, a municipal corporation located in Bangor, Penobscot County,
Maine, as Grantor, for consideration paid, releases to RICHARD ROSSIGNOL, of Bangor, Penobscot
County, Maine, as Grantee, a certain lot or pence[ of land with the buildings thereon, situate in the City
ofBaagor, Penobscot County, Maine, and more particularly described as follows, viz:
Real estate located at 22 Third Street in said Bangor and
described in a dead recorded in Book 6217, Page 98,
Penobscot County Registry of Deeds. Said real estate is
father described in City records as Assessor's Map 34,
Lot 90, sewer account number 050-114.
Any arM all other rights, easements, privileges and appurtenances
belonging to the granted estate are hereby conveyed.
The purpose of this deed is to release to the Grantee my interest the Grantor may have in the
above-described property by virtue of an undischarged sews lien assessed against the Grantee and
recorded in the Penobscot Registry of Deeds in Volume ]39], Page 52. All public easements or other
public interests in the described premises for mads, sewers, or other purposes are expressly reserved.
The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument to be sealed wiN its corporate seal,
and signed in its corporate name by DEBORAH A. CYR, Finance Director, thereunto duly authorized
this day of September, 2002.
