Me 04473 Dear Mr. Lutz, Recently I was contacted by the manager of the CRibus system in Bangor regarding a parking situation on Ohio Street. The bus drivers reported that when Mrs park on the side of the street in the area of the corner near 97 —99 Ohio St., outbound busses are forced W go into the opposing lane. I reviewed this situation and agreed that it is potentially dangerous and steps should be taken to reduce the potential for an accident. Not only were busses crossing into the opposing lane, all outbound vehicles were doing the same. An amendment to the City of Bangor Parting Ordinance has been dratted to resMet parking for 175 feet in front of 97— 99 Ohio St. I checked with the City of Bangor Assessing Dept. and learned that you are listed as the owner of this property. I wanted W be sure that you were aware of this and let you know that you will have an opportunity W address the City Council's Government Operations Committee If you have concerns about the proposal. If you would like to attend the committee meeting that will deal with this issue, please contact the City Manager's Office (945-4400) W find when R will be placed on the agenda.
