The purpose of this proposed ordinance amendment is to increase the maximum height of principal and accessary structures in the Downtown Development District (DDD) adjacent to tidal waters fram 35 feet to 80 feet. The current height limb of 35 feet for structures along Kenduskeag Stream in the Downtown Development District makes many buildings non -conforming structures.
