This proposed amendment provides options for buffer yard landscaping of parking lots and off-street loading areas when space is limited. The Ordinance requires at least a B -Buffer Yard for parking and loading areas that front on a public street or private way. Currently this requirement can be met with a landscaped, 3 -foot berm In a 10 -foot by 100 -foot supper yard. However, this type of berm Is not practical in our climate. This amendment offers the option of additional landscaping instead of a berm to meet the Ordinance requirements.
