CITY OF BANGOR (TITLE.) : Order, Authorizing the City Manager M Execute a Grant Agreement win the Department of Human Services —Children's Dental Clinic By the Oty Counal of the Ory of &ngon ORDERED, THAT the City Manager is hereby authorized to apply for and accept from the State of Maine, Department of Human Service; Bureau of Health a grant of $16,000 for Me Children's Dental Clinic to be administered by the City of Bangor, Health and Welfare Department for the period July 1, 2003 to June 30, 2003. STRATEGY : Continue the School Dental Health Education and Fluoride Program. STRATaDv a: The Hygienist will encourage referrals by word of mouth free Bangor eligible referrals tram Hazgor School Horses and from Season School Teachers. Clinic staff will encourage referrals in-house from Bangor Public Health purees, Bangor Health and welfare Department and H.I.C., again by in-person Contacts and word of mouth.
