On August 8, 2001 the Finance Committee approvetl a workout agreement with the owner of property
located at 1196 Stillwater Avenue for outstanding taxes going back to 1998. While the workout
agreement was in place, two of the liens matured and now need to be discharged. Treasury staff was
nop0ed on July 16"' of a pending dosing on the property to be held on Friday, July 190. Because the
liens have matured, a quitclaim deed! Is necessary to release the CINs Interest in the property. In order
M accommodate the closing, a deetl was prepared and given to the closing agent. The current year's
taxes will be prorated and paid at dosing. There are no outstanding sewer charges or mtle Issues with
the property.
This Resolve will ratify the actions of staff.

Estate Located at 1196 Stillwater Avenue
By the City Council of the City of Bangor:
RESOLVED,
THAT the actions of the Finance Director and City Solicitor in executing
and delivering a Municipal Quitclaim Deed releasing the City's Interest in real estate located
at 1196 Stillwater Avenue by virtue of matured real estate tax liens recorded in the Penobscot
Registry of Deeds to Perry Boudreau is hereby ratified and affirmed.
