The Qty has a matured 1970 real estate tax lien on property of Thum Kitchen located at 651
Kenduskeag Avenue. Apparently, the lien had not been discharged at the time of payment The Legal
Department was notified of a pending dosing on short notice, so there was rat time ta first go to
Committee. Staff recommended the issuance of the deed because the taxes were turned on the
property and there were no code issues. To accommodate the sale of the property, a dead was exerted
and neconced before tlw scheduled closing.
This Resolve would ratify the actions of both the Rnance and Legal Departments.

Estate Located at 651 Kenduskeag Avenue
By the City Council of the City of Bangor:
RESOLVED,
THAT the actions of the Finance Director and City Solicitor in executing
and delivering a Municipal Quitclaim Deed releasing the City's interest in real estate located
at 651 Kenduskeag Avenue by virtue of a matured real estate tax lien recorded in Book 2185,
Page 65, Penobscot Registry of Deeds, to Thursa M. Kitchen is hereby ratified and affirmed.

MUNICIPAL QUITCLAIM DEED
The CITY OF BANGOR, a municipal corporation located N Bangor, Penobscot County,
Maine, as GranWt, for consideration paid, releases to THURSA M. KITCHEN, of Burger, Penobscot
County, Maine, successor w interest to Madeline Wales, As Groove, a cadmium lot or parcel of land with
the buildings therem, situate N the City of Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, and more particularly
described as follows, viz:
Real estate located at 651 Kenduskeag Avenue in said Bangor,
and described in deeds recorded in Volume 1190, Page 48 and
Volume 2156, Page 257, Panobsmt Comity Registry of Deeds. Said
and estate is father described in Cityrecords As real estate account
number 03203, Assessor's Map R34, Lot 26.
Any and all offer, rights, easements, privileges and appurtenances
belonging to the granted estate me hereby conveyed.
The propose of this deed is to release to the Gurnee my interest the Grantor may have is the
above-described property by virme of an undischarged real came ten lien assessed against Madeline
Wales for the my= 1970 and rerordM in Book 2185, Page 65, Penobscot Registry of Deeds. All
public easements or other public interests mine described premises for roads, sewers, Or other
purposes are expressly reserved.
The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument to be sealed with its corporate seal,
and signed in its corporate name by DEBORAH A. M, Finance Director. Uncommon duly authorized
