Apparently, the lien had not been discharged at the time of payment The Legal Department was notified of a pending dosing on short notice, so there was rat time ta first go to Committee. Staff recommended the issuance of the deed because the taxes were turned on the property and there were no code issues. To accommodate the sale of the property, a dead was exerted and neconced before tlw scheduled closing. This Resolve would ratify the actions of both the Rnance and Legal Departments. RESOLVE, Ratifying Execution and Delivery of Municipal Quitclaim Deed -- Real Estate Located at 651 Kenduskeag Avenue By the City Council of the City of Bangor: RESOLVED, THAT the actions of the Finance Director and City Solicitor in executing and delivering a Municipal Quitclaim Deed releasing the City's interest in real estate located at 651 Kenduskeag Avenue by virtue of a matured real estate tax lien recorded in Book 2185, Page 65, Penobscot Registry of Deeds, to Thursa M. Kitchen is hereby ratified and affirmed.
