A quitclaim deed was not prepared at the time. The Legal Department has been informed that the property, Is in the process of being and, and the lien needs to be discharged on the record. Because the lien has matured, Council approval is necessary to release the City's interest in the property back to the taxpayers, lames and Nancy Hodgkins. Cyr, finance Director, is hereby authorized and directed, on behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal Quitclaim Deed releasing any Interest the City may have in the real estate located at 27 Pier Street in said Bangor by virtue of a matured real estate tax lien recorded in the Penobscot County Registry of Deeds in Book 7995, Page 153. HODGKINS, both of Old Town, Penobscot County, Maine, as Grantees, a chain lot or parcel of land with the buildings thereon, situate in the City of Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, and more particularly described as follows, VIZ: Real estate located at 27 Pier Street in said Bangor, and described in a dead recorded in Volume 2607, Page 264, Penobscot County Registry of Deeds. Said real estate is further described in City records as real estate account number 09092, Assessor's Map 23, Lot 75A. Any and all other rights, easements, privileges and appurtenances belonging to the granted estate are hereby conveyed. The purpose of this deed is to release to the Grooves any interest the Grantor may have is the abovedeseribed property by virtue of an undischarged real estate tax lien assessed against the Grantees and recorded in Bonk 7095, Page 153, Penobscot Registry ofD eds.
