HomeMy WebLinkAbout2002-04-08 02-176 ORDERItem No- 02-176 Date: 4-8-03 Item/Subject: That the City Manager and/or the Cade Enforcement Officer be aulhorized to apply to Maine Historic Preservation for a gram to perform a photographic survey of the historic and unique construction elements of the Bangor Waterworks Responsible Department: Infrastructure and Development Support -Code Enforcement Commentary: The Maine Historic Preservation Commission has indicated a willingness to fund, through the New Century Community Program, an intensive photographic survey of the many unique and historic construction features of the Bangor Waterworks which are in danger of being lost to decay or would be removed as part of a future renovation. In addition to the photographic survey we would propose W collect to a central publication existing floor plans, engineering documentation, and the history of the complex construction and use.
