Responsible Department: Code Enforcement Commentary: The purpose of this amendment is w permit non-residential historic properties located in the Multi - Family & Service District to have one one -premises wall, pmjecting or freestmding sign, not to exceed 24 square feet. Currently, non -historic non-residential uses in the M&SD are pemutted 24 square foot sips; hovrever, the historic designation reduces the size of the sign permitted to oNy 2 square feet. Residential, Agricultural and Park and Open Space Districts In URD -1, URD -2, LDR, HDR M & SD, RR & A and P & O Districts, on -premises signs shall comply with the following conditions: A. For any property designated in Chapter 148, Historic Preservation, m an historic district, historic site or historic landmark, our m,w peplos six s0uarsfoot wall or pro'ectine sign shall be permitted for each lawfully existing nonresidential use, not including home occupations.
