Commentary:
Payment in full has been received for all outstanding real estate taxes on the property located at 191
Fourteenth Street. Because one of the liens had matured, Council approval is necessary to release the
City's interest in the property back to the property o mer. Staff at the Treatment Plant will be working
with the mortgage company to clean up outstanding sewer charges.
The Finance Committee recommended approval at i6 meeting on March 6, 2002
There are no code Issues with the property.

(TITLE.) ORDER, Authorizing Execution of Municipal Quitclaim Deed — Real
Estate Located at 191 Fourteenth Street

ORDERED,
THAT Deborah Cyr, Finance Director, is hereby authorized and directed, on behalf
of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal Quitclaim Deed releasing any interest the
City may have in the real estate located at 191 Fourteenth Street in said Bangor by
virtue of an undischarged real estate tax lien recorded in Book 7407, Page 20,
Penobscot Registry of Deeds. Said deed shall be directed to Pamela 1. Hart, a copy of
said deed being attached hereto.

MUNICIPAL QUITCLAIM DEED
The CITY OF BANGOR, a municipal corpor&ion located in Bangor, Penobscot County,
Maine, as Grantor, for consideration paid, releases to PAMELA J. BART, of Bangor, Penobscot
County, Maine, as Grantee, a certain lot or parcel of land with the buildings thereon, simma in the City
of Bangor, Penohscot County, Maitre, and more particularly described as follows, viz:
Real estate located at 191 Fourteenth Street in said Bangor, and
described in deeds recorded in Volume 6005, Page 28, Penobscot
County Registry of Deeds. Said real estate is further described in
City records as Assessor's Map 12, Lot 36.
Any and all other rights, easement, privileges and appurtenances
belonging to the granted estate are hereby conveyed.
The purpose of this dad is to release to the Grantee any interest the Grvnor may have in the
above-described property by virtue of an undischarged real estate tax lien assessed against the Grams
and recorded in Book ]407, Page 20, Penobscot RegistryofMods. All public easements or other
public interests in the described premises for roads, sewers, or other purposes are expressly reserved.
The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument to be sealed with it corporate seal,
and signed in its corporate name by DEBORAH A. CYR, Finance Director, thereunm duly authorized
this day ofMareh, 2002.
