THAT Deborah Cyr, Finance Director, is hereby authorized and directed, on behalf
of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal Quitclaim Deed releasing any interest the
City may have in the real estate located at 227 State Street in said Bangor by virtue of
undischarged real estate tax liens recorded in the Penobscot Registry of Deeds. Said
deed shall be directed to Douglas F. Schmidt, a copy of Said deed being attached
hereto.

MUNICIPAL QUITCLAIM DEED
The CITY OF BANGOR, a municipal corporation located in Bangor, Penobscot County,
Maine, as Grantor, for consideration paid, releases to DOUGLAS F. SCHMIDT, of Bangor, Penobscot
County, Maine, as Grantee, a certain lot or parcel of land with the buildings thereon, situate in the City
of Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, and more particularly described as follows, viz:
A 2l3 interest in real estate located at 227 State Stases in said
Bangor, and described in deeds recorded in Volume 3057, Page 4
and Volume 4288, Page 3, Penobscot County Registry of
Dads. Said real estate is fuller described in City records
as Assessor's Map 55, Lot 10.
Any and all other rights, easements, privileges end appurtenances
belonging to the Conrad estate are hereby conveyed.
The purpose of this deed is to release to the Grantee any interest the Grantor may have in the
above-described property by virtue of undischarged real estate tax liens assessed against the Grantee
and recorded in Book 6407, Page 248; Book 6720, Page 150; Book 7096, Page 48; and Book 7407,
Page 318, Penobscot Registry of Deeds. All public easements or other public interests in the described
premises for meds, sewers, or other purposes are expressly reserved.
The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument to be sealed with its corporate seal,
and signed in its corporate name by DEBORAH A. CYR. Finance Director, thereunto duly authorized
this day of March, 2002.
