Commentary:
A sevrer lien assessed against property of Jahn and Darty Dionne located at 36 Drew Lane matured in
December, 2001. The Wastewater Treatment Plar t has received payment in full, and the property
owners are requesting title back to their property. Because the lien had matured, Caundl approval Is
necessary W release Me City's Interest in the property. The real estate taxes are current and there are
no code Issues viM the property.
The Fnance Committee recommended approval at its meeting on February 20, 2002

(nnEJ ORDER, Authorizing Execution of Municipal Quitclaim Deed — Real
Estate Located at 36 Drew Lane
THAT Deborah Cyr, Finance Director, Is hereby authorized and directed, on behalf
of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal Quitclaim Deed releasing any interest the
City may have in the real estate located at 36 Drew (ane in said Bangor by Virtue of an
undischarged sewer lien recorded in Book 7396, Page 375, Penobscot Registry of
Deeds. Said deed shall be directed to John P. and Darcy O. Dionne, a copy of said deed
being attached herein.

MUNICIPAL QUITCLAIM DEED
The CITY OF BANGOR, a municipal corporation located in Bangor, Penobscot County,
Maine, as Greater, for consideration paid, releases to JOHN P. and DARCY O. DIONNE, both of
Bangor, as Grantees, a certain lot or parcel of land with the buildings thereon, situate in the City of
Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, and more particularly described as follows, viz:
Real estate located at 36 Drew Lane in said Baagor and
described in a deed recorded in Volume 4132, Page 295,
Penobscot County Registry of Deeds. Said real estate is
further described in City records as Assessor's Map R55,
Lot 121, Sewer Account Number 028-375.
Any and all other rights, easements, privileges and appurtenances
belonging to the granted estate are hereby conveyed.
The purpose of this deed is to release m the Grandees my interest the Grantor rosy have in the
above-described property by virtue of an undischarged sewer Gen assessed against the Grantees and
recorded in the Penobscot Registry ofDreds in Book 7396, Page 275. All public easements or other
public interests in the described premises for roads, sewers, or other purposes are expressly reserved.
The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this insnummt to be sealed with its corporate seal,
and signed in its corporate name by DEBORAH A. CYR, Finance Director, thereunto duly authorized
this day of February, 2002.
