Commentary
We were recently informed by FEMA Mat in adopting the new Flood Management Ordinance the
date In 120-1(F) should rest have been the data of the final approval of Flood Insurance Rate Maps but
the date our tical ordhrarce becomes effactive. This, therefore, Is a minor cor ecUon which changes the
data in 120-1(F) (torn 9/25/00 W 3/9/02.
Upon your approval of the charge we are requiretl m submit the corrected copies to the State and
FEMA.

(TITLE.) Ordinance, Amending the Code of Ordinances of the City of Bangor— Chapter 120-
1(F) to Correct the Date on Which the Ordinance Becomes Effective
Re it ordained by the City oFBargoi, as &1low5:
Chapter 120-1(F) is hereby amended as follows:
F. The areas of special flood hazard, Zones A and AE, are Identified by the Federal Emergency
Management Agency In a report entitled "Flood Insurance Study — City of Bangor, Maine,
Penobscot County," dated September 25-, March 4. 2002 with accompanying "Flood
Insurance Rate Map" dated September 25;-2000 March 4. 200 which are hereby adopted
by reference and declared to be a part of this Chapter.
