A sewer lien assessed against property of Rubin Corey and located at 3W EsuX Street matured in
December, 2001. Mrs. Corey's mortgage holder paid off the lien and other outstanding sewer charges
totaling $2,900. Because the lien has matured, Council approval Is necessary to release the Citys
interest in the property. The mortgage holder, Bangor Federal Credit Union, has requested that tlhe
property be deeded to it The Wiley of the Council is to deed the property to the mortgage holder when
It pays off tte matured lien and other outstanding charges.
The Finance Commitee recommended approval at its meeting on February 6, 2002.

ORDERED,
THAT Deborah Cyr, Finance Director, is hereby authodzed and directed, on behalf
of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal Quitclaim Deed releasing any Interest the
City may have in the real estate located at 306 Essex Street in said Bangor by virtue of
an undischarged sewer lien recorded in Book 7396, Page 260, Penobscot Registry of
Deeds. Said deed shall be directed to Bangor Federal Credit Union, successor in
interest to Robin C. Corey, a copy of said deed being attached hereto.

MUNICIPAL QUITCLAIM DEED
The CITY OF BANGOR, a municipal corporation located in Bangor, Penobscot County,
Maine, as Grantor, for consideration paid releases to BANGOR FEDERAL CREDIT UNION, of
Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, successor in interest to Robin C. Corey, as Gromm, a certain lot or
Parcel of land with the buildings thereon, situate in the City of Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, and
more particularly described as follows, ver:
Real estate located at 306 Dssex Street in said Bangor and
described in a deed recorded in Volume 3772, Page 173,
Penobscot County Registry of Dads. Said real estete is
lurtber described in City records as Assessor's Map 47,
Lot 68, Sewer Acomun Number 019-034.
Any and all other rights, eaaments, privileges and appurtenances
belonging to the greeted estate are bereby conveyed.
The purpose of this deed is to release to the Granter my interest the Gramm may have in the
above-described property by virme of an undischarged sewer lien assessed against Robin C. Corey and
recorded in the Penobscot Regishy of Deeds in Book 73%, Page 260. All public easements mother
public interests in the described premises for roads, sewers, or other purposes are expressly reserved.
The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument to be sealed with its corporate seal,
and signed in its corporate name by DEBORAH A. CYR, Finance Director, thereunto duly authorized
this day of February, 2002.
