the Federal Equitable Sharing Program (Stewart)
Responsible Department: Police Department
Commentary: Members of the Bangor Police Department, who were assigned to the Special
Enforcement Team (SET) and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency (MDEA), were instrumental in an
investigation that led to the seizure of drugs, cash and property.
Since this investigation involved officers with the Bangor Police Department, the police department is
entitled to a share of the forfeited assets in this case.

result of a State Criminal Forfelture.The money will be deposited into the police
department state forfeture account.
