HomeMy WebLinkAbout2017-04-10 17-131 ORDERCOUNCIL ACTION Item No. 17-131 Date: April 10, 2017 Item/Subject: ORDER, Authorizing Bid Award in the Amount of $144,700 to All American Arena Products for Dasher Boards Responsible Department: Parks & Recreation Commentary: On February 15, 2017, the City received two (2) bids for the replacement of the dasher board system at Sawyer Arena. The bid prices ranged from $135,700 to $186,501 (see attached bid tabulation). Staff recommends awarding the contract to All American Arena Products, the low bidder. The additional $9,000 within the contract will be used to dispose of the existing dasher boards. This bid was reviewed and recommended for approval at the Finance Committee meeting of April 3, 2017. The contract award recommendation must be reviewed approved by the City Council as it is over $100,000.
