Members of the Bangor Police Department who were assigned W the Maine Drug Enforcement
Agency (MDM) were instrumental in the investigation that led to this seizure. As a result of an
investigation Alton Danforth was arrested and charged with Trafficking in Scheduled Drugs (Marijuana).
The defendant had been operating an indoor grow operation at his residence in Sprirgfeld, Maine.
Prosecutors in the case filed for forieiture on Ne defendan is property. Because Bangor Police
Officers participated in this investigation, the Police Department was entitled to a share of the forfehe l
assets in this case.
