Commentary:
For Referral to Planning Board Meeting of Tuesday, May 6, 2003, 7:00 P.M.
The purpose of this amendment is to modernize the Neighborhood Service District. The NSD Is
presently geared toward uses that are no longer viable. This amendment will revitalize the zone
into a more useful neighborhood -oriented zoning district.

Section 16591, A.,B.,C., and D Neighborhood Service District be amended as
follows:
A. Statement of purpose. The Neighborhood Service District is established to

neighborhood.
Basic requirements. Buildings or land used or occupied and buildings or structures
erected, constructed, reconstructed, moved or structurally altered, whether permitted
uses or conditional uses, shall comply with the requirements of this section, Articles II
through XII and the specific development standards of Article XIX of this chapter. In a
Neighborhood Service District no permitted nonresidential use may be established or
conducted with an excess of 2,000 square feet of gross floor area, and no goods or
materials may be displayed or stored outdoo ,
