The Ban kir Corporation has leased the Bangor Intematlonal Enterprise Center building from the Cay of Bangor/ Bangor International Airport since 1982. During that tlme the Bary it CorporsHon has operated a foreign trade zone, Foreign Trade Zane No. 58, and a small business Incubator in tne building on behalf of the City of Bangor. The foreign trade zone and small business Inusbator have been an integral component of the CIVs economic development strategy, and the BanAlr Corporation has agreed to continue m assist the City's economic development efforts through Me lease of the building and management of those use programs. NOW THEREFORE BE IF ORDERED BY -[ME CRY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BANGOR THAT the City Manager is hereby authohzed, on behalf of the City of Bangor, to exewte a lease agreanent with the Bangor Airport Chic Development (Ba"r) Corporation for the Intonational Enterprise Center Building, W Johnson Ave., Bogor in a farm approved by the City Sandlot or Assistant Ory Solicitor and containing the (dowing terms and concivons. Term: Five (5) years beginning January 1, M3 with option to renew for a free year period an January 1, 2008, January 1, 2013 and January 1, 2018. Lease Rate: 65%of income fian space contest remitted to the City of Bangor/ Bangor International Airport.
