Commentary:
Key Bank, who holds the mortgage on property owned by Janice Putnam and located at 163 Forest
Avenue, is going to pay all outstanding real estate taxes and sewer charges totaling approximately
$7,000. Because several of the liens have matured, Counal approval lo needed to release any Interest of
the City in Me property by virtue of the liens. Key Bank has requested that the deed be directed back to
the property owner. There are no known code issues with the property.
Finance Committee recommended approval at its Febmary 5° meeting to issue the deed once full
payment Is received.

THAT Deborah A. Cyr, Finance Director, is hereby authorized and directed, on
behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal Quitclaim Deed releasing any
Interest the City may have in the real estate located at 163 Wrest Avenue in said
Bangor by virtue of several undischarged real estate and sewer liens recorded in the
Penobscot Registry of Deeds. Said deed shall be directed to Janice E. Putnam and in
a form approved by the Office of the City Solicitor.
