Commentary:
Through a workout agreement which had been previously approved by the France Committee, William
Menai has paid off several of his tax accounts as they have been sold or expect to be sold. The account
for this property is current and there are no outstanding sewer fees or code Issues. &rause three of the
tax liens on the property have matured, Council approval is necessary to release any interest the City has
in the property bark to Mr. Meucci.
The Finance Committee recommended approval at its January 22, 2003 meeting.

(TITLE.) ORDER, Aufhorhting Execution of Municipal Quitclaim Deed— Real
Estate Wcate l at 15 Hildreth Sheet
THAT Deborah A. Cyr, Finance Director, is hereby authodwd and directed, on
behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal Quitclaim Deed releasing any
interest the City may have In the real estate located at 15 Hildreth Street in mid Bangor
by virtue of undischarged real estate tax liens recorded in the Penobscot Registry of
Deeds in Book 6719, Page 357; Book 7095, Page 269; and Book 7407, Page 176. Said
deed shall be directed to William T. Meucci, a copy of said deed being attached hereto.

MUNICIPAL QUITCLAIM DEED
The CITY OF BANGOR, a municipal corporation located in Bangor, Penobscot County,
Maine, as Grantor, for consideration paid, releases to WILLIAM T. MEUCCL of Bangor, Penobscot
County, Maine, as Grantee, a certain lot or parcel of land with the buildings thereon, situate in the City
of Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, and more particularly described as follows, v¢:
Real estate located at 15 Hildreth Street in said Bangor, and
described in a deed recorded in Book 2113, Page 259,
Penobscot County Registry of Deeds. Said well dtffie is Furber
described in City records as real cattle account number 4001,
Assessor's Map R9, Lot 2-B.
Any and all other rights, easements, privileges and appurtenances
belonging to the granted estate are hereby conveyed.
The purpose of this deed is to release to the Grantee any interest the Grantor may have in me
above-described pmpuny by virtue of undischarged real estate tax liens assessed against the Grontce
and recorded in Book 6719, Page 357; Book 7095, Page 269; and Book 7407, Page 176, Penobscot
Registry of Deeds. All public easements or other public interests in the described premises for roads,
sewers, or other purposes are expressly reserved.
The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument to be sealed with its corporate seal,
and signed in its corporate name by DEBORAH A. CYR, Finance Director, thereunto duly authorized
this day ofFebmary, 2003.
