Through a workout agreement which had been previously approved by the Finance CommMee, William
Meuod has paid off several of his tax accounts astheyhave been sold. The property at 243 Ohio Street
is in the process of being sold. The account for this property is current and there are no outstanding
sewer fees or code Imes. Because three of the tax liens on the property have matured, Council
approval is necessary W release any interest the City has in the property back to the Meuods.
The France Committee recommended approval at its January 22, 2003 meeting.

MDxHCIPAL QUITCLAIM DEED
The CITY OF BANGOR, a municipal corporation located in Burnam, Penobscot County,
Maine, as Grantor, for consideration paid, releases to WILLIAM T. and ELIZABETH L. MEUCCL
both of Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine,as Grantees, a certain lot or parcel of land with the
buildings thereon, situate in the City of Burger, Penobscot County, Maine, and more particularly
described as follows, viz:
Real estate located at 243 Ohio Street in said Bangor, and
described in a deed recorded in Book 1763, Page 56,
Penobscot County Registry of Deeds. Said real estate is further
described in City records as real mate account number 4004,
Assessor's Map 31, Lot 25.
Any and at other rights, easements, Privileges and appurtenances
belonging to the granted estate are bereby conveyed.
The purpose of Us deed is to release to the Grantees any interest the Grantor may have in Ne
above-described property by virtue of undischarged real estate tax liens assessed against the Grantees
and recorded in Book 6720, Page 3; Book 7095, Page 275; and Book 7407, Page 120, Penobscot
RegistryofDeeds. All public easements or other public interests in the described premises for roads,
sewers, or orbor purposes are expressly reserved.
The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument to be sealed with its corporate seal,
and signed in its corporate name by DEBORAH A. CYR, Finance Director, thereunto duly authorized

ORDERED,
THAT Deborah A. Cyr, Finance Director, is hereby authorized and directed, on
behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal Quitclaim Deed releasing any
interest the City may have in the real estate located at 243 Ohio Street in said Bangor
by virtue of undischarged real estate tax liens recorded In the Penobscot Registry of
Deeds in Book 6720, Page 3; Book 7095, Page 275; and Book 7407, Page 170. Said
deed shall be directed to William T. and Elizabeth L. Meucci, a copy of said deed being
attached hereto.
