Commentary:
The property owners of a vacant piece of land at 2882 Ohio Street have paid the tax account in full,
which included matured tax liens. Because several of the liens had matured, Council approval is
necessary to release any interest the City has In the property back to the property owners.
The Finance Committee recommended approval at its January 22, 2803 meeting.

MUNICIPAL QUITCLAEN DEED
Me CITY OF BANGOR, a municipal corporation located in Burger, Penobscot County,
Maine, as Grantor, for consideration paid, releases to STEVE and ELLIE ASPROGIANNIS AND
GEORGE K. MAKRIS, all of 19 Spruce Lane, Dover, New Hampshire, as Grantees, a certain lot or
parcel of lend with the buildings thereon, situate in the City of Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, and
more particularly described as follows, viz:
Real estate located at 2082 Ohio Strew in said Bangor, and
described in a deed recorded in Book 5475, Page 224,
Penobscot County Registry of Deeds. Said real estate is further
described in City records as real estate account number 6161,
Assessor's Map R3, Lot 20.
Any and all other rights, easements, privileges and appurtenances
belonging to the granted estate are hereby conveyed.
The purpose of this deed is to release to the Grammer any interest the Granter may have in the
above�described property by virtue of undischarged real estate tax liens assessed against the Grantees
and recorded in Book 6406, Page 29; Book 6718, Page 281; Book ?M, Page 259; Book 7406, Page
90 and Book 7774, Page 20, Penobscot Registry of Dmds. All public easements m other public
interests in the described premises for toad , sewers, or other purposes are expressly reserved.
The said CITY OF BANGOR has caused this instrument to be sealed with its corporate seal,
and signed in its corporate more by DEBORAH A. CYR, Finance Director, thereunto duly authorized
this day of January, 2003.

Estate Located at 2082 Ohio Streat
THAT Deborah A. Cyr, Finance Director, is hereby authorized and directed, on
behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal Quitclaim Deed releasing any
interest the City may have in the real estate located at 2082 Ohio Sheet in said Bangor
by virtue of several undischarged real estate tax liens recorded in the Penobscot
Registry of Deeds. Said deed shall be directed to Steve and Ellie Asprogiannis and
George K. Makris, a copy of said deed being attached hereto.
