On October 30, 2002 two bids were received for the fuel handling improvements project at the Motor
Pool. The bids were $121,000 and $23$800, and the low bid was received! from G. R. Adams Inc. of
Hampden
This project Indudes a fueling island with two fuel dispensers and a canopy. The project also includes the
Installation of a new underground 6,000 -gallon waste oil tank. The installation of this equipment will add
numerous safety features to the fuel dispensing operation at the Motor Pool and bring it into compliance
with current NFPA fire code standards.
This recommendation was reviewetl by the Finance Committee on November 6, 2002 and referred to the
City Council for approval as I is in excess of $100,000.
