Chert Richard, owner of property hated at 218 French Street, had entered into a workout agreement to
may off several years of outstanding real estate taxes and sewer bills. On September 8, 2004, the
Finance Committee approved accepting payment from the mortgage holder and the issuance of a dead to
Ms. Richard once a check for the entire outstanding balance was received.
The Treasurers office has informed us that full payment has been received and the dead can now be
Issued. Because several alone liens Kaye matured, Council approval Is necessary to release Me City's
interest In Me property back to the taxpayer. There are no cads issues with the property.

Estate Located! at 218 French Street
THAT Deborah A. Cyr, Finance Director, is hereby authorized and directed, on
behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal Quitclaim Deed releasing any
interest the City may have in the real estate located at 218 French Street in said Bangor
by virtue of vadous undischarged real estate tax and sevler liens recorded in the
Penobscot Registry of Deeds. Said deed shall be directed to Cheryl Richard, and in a
form approved by the Office of the City Solicitor.
